NO ALCOHOL 48 HRS PRIOR
Alcohol is also a blood thinner. To avoid having appointment rescheduled, please avoid drinking alcohol for 2 days leading up to your appointment.
NO BOTOX & ANTIBIOTICS
It is not recommended to get Botox scheduled 4 weeks prior to your permanent make up procedure. Please schedule your appointments accordingly. Avoid taking antibiotics 4 weeks before your appointment for optimal healing results.
3 WEEKS PRIOR
Avoid using retinol, harsh acids (AHAs,BHAs, Vitamin C, mandelic acid, lactic acid etc.) and eyebrow/lash growth serums three weeks prior to your appointment.
NO TANNING & VACATIONING
We achieve the best healed results when working on skin in its natural state. Be cautious and use SPF to protect your skin and brows when exposed to the sun.
NO PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING
Sorry momma’s! Unfortunately you cannot get any PMU services while pregnant or breast feeding. Due to the risk of infection and slow healing, it is best to wait 3 months after pregnancy or breast feeding to allow hormones to fully regulate before getting permanent make up.
EXFOLIATE
To create the ideal canvas for your artist to work on, we ask your gently exfoliate your brows 3 days prior to your appointment to remove any dead skin cells in the brow area. You can use a brow spoolie or washcloth with gentle face wash to throughly exfoliate.
COLD SORE PRONE
If you are cold sore prone and interested in lip blush it is integral to the process to tell your artist to work together to minimize the possiblility of an outbreak during the healing process.
HYDRATE
Drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment. Hydration will promote healthy skin and happy healing!

CLEANING
Use the provided shower shields to help keep the tattooed area dry while you shower. If you have oily skin, remove the oil by washing your face with a gentle cleanser and use witch hazel on your forehead to ensure the shield sticks properly.
AVOID SUN
Direct sun exposure is not recommended for a healing tattoo. Please avoid the sun and wear a hat!
NO SWEATING/SWIMMING
Keep the area dry. This includes no sweating or swimming for 10-14 days. Excessive sweating during this time period could cause the tattooed area to heal grey toned.
NO MAKE UP
Do not apply makeup or products onto the tattooed area to avoid infection. When fully healed, avoid using anti-aging and acne products on the area.
SLEEPING ADJUSTMENTS
Avoid sleeping on your face and change your current pillowcase for a clean one. This will help to avoid premature flaking which could cause loss of pigment. You can use an airplane pillow to avoid waking up on your side or stomach.

Use a good sunscreen daily - even the lips require protection! Sun exposure will fade your cosmetic tattoo and may cause irritation even years later.
If you are planning chemical exfoliation, MRI, blood donations or other medical procedures, please make sure to inform your artist so we can properly schedule your treatments.
