• Shimmer Studios is licensed as a Body Art establishment.
  For this reason, NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 IS PERMITTED IN THE STUDIO.

• Clients MUST have a valid ID at time of service to get tattooed. If you show up to the studio without an ID, your appointment will need to be rescheduled and our rescheduling fee will apply.

• Shop Minimum rate for any service is $150

• All medical forms must be submitted and approved before appointment.

• Arrive at most 15 mins before your scheduled time.

All of your information is securely stored and will never be shared. This information is collected to make sure there is nothing that might compromise your retention of color or your healing time.

Some things to consider before scheduling! You will be asked to disclose some medical information to ensure you are a good candidate for cosmetic tattoos. Your information will be kept confidential and will only be used to make sure there is nothing that might compromise your healing and quality of results. 

Cosmetic tattoo services cannot be performed if you are:

• Pregnant or breastfeeding

• Under the age of 18

• Taking immunosuppression medication/have been diagnosed with an immune disorder

• Have any active infection

• Have an upcoming surgery within 4 weeks

• Taking blood thinning medication

• Noncompliant with aftercare instructions

• Commonly suntan.

• Diabetic

• Taking fish oil

• Have an undiagnosed/untreated heart issues

• Have taken antibiotics in the past 30 days.

• Have tendency to keloid

• Have had peels/laser/ microneedling within the past four weeks

• Have taken Accutane in the past year

• Have had laser resurfacing in the past year

• Have had botox injections on the forehead within 2 weeks

• At high risk of infection/must take antibiotics during dental work

• Most people who have had their brows tattooed in the past will be turned away. Please contact me with a photo of your brows to see if I can take you as a client

20% NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is required for booking, the deposit comes off the cost of appointment. By scheduling an appointment you are confirming you agree.

NOTE: If you have previous permanent cosmetics on your brows or lips;
DO NOT schedule a brow or lip session, schedule a consultation or email me first. I work on previous PMU on a case by case basis. If you are in need of an annual touch up and the work is not originally mine, then first session rate applies.

If you show up to your appointment and you are deemed ineligible for cosmetic tattoos based on the information provided in pre-care/ medical contradictions your artist will not be able to continue with scheduled appointment and you will be changed the 30% cancellation fee and your booking fee will be forfeited.

Deposits are non refundable. To schedule a new session you must have approval by the artist and place a new deposit to secure a new date and time.

You may reschedule your session via the online booking platform, as long as it is 48 hours in advance.

NO CALL/ NO SHOW

I charge a 30% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. 30 min late will be considered canceled and you will be charged 30% of the scheduled session. You are responsible to reach out to the artist if you would like to reschedule. Rebooking after a NO CALL/ NO SHOW is at the discretion of the artist.

Running Late?

Trust me, I get it! Sh*t happens! Unfortunately, running late will cause me to run behind for the next appointment.

10 mins:

If you are more than 10 mins late you will be charged an additional 10% to the service.

20 mins:

If you are more than 20 mins late you will be charged an additional 20% to the service.

30 mins:

If you are more than 20 mins late you will be charged an additional 20% to the service.

Reminders for appointments are sent out 72 hrs before scheduled session.

If you need to Cancel/Reschedule your appointment you have 48 hours prior to you appointment to manage via online booking platform.

Your deposit will stay attached for one reschedule. You have 30 days since the originally scheduled session to reschedule your appointment to redeem original deposit.

Failure to reschedule within 30 days of original appointment will be a forfeit of your original deposit.

If you cancel your session, your deposit is forfeit. Deposits are non-refundable.

To schedule a new session, post 30 days, you must have approval by the artist and place a new deposit to secure a new date and time.
